Twenty past one
This is the time on the clock. But this is no ordinary public timepiece. It’s suspended from the roof of Waterloo Station, one of the main and historical railway stations in London.
The area on the concourse underneath the clock is a landmark and a popular and traditional meeting place for people, even a spot for a first romantic meeting. Perhaps it’s a less famous rendez-vous than the clock at New York’s Grand Central Station, but the sentiment is the same.
I was busily taking this shot and who should come and meet me under the clock? None other than Dermot. How very fitting.
The clock at Waterloo was the last stop on a photographic visit to the station, which I will share with you in the coming days.
Hi Mike, I’ll be looking forward to the next shots!

Thanks a lot, Seth. I think the clock at Grand Central Station has the edge, but even so… :-)
