Lady Justice
She overlooks the City of London with a stern and majestic air, bearing the symbols of justice.
This gilded statue is on top of the dome of the Central Criminal Court – better known as the Old Bailey, the place where many of the most high profile, serious and complex trails are held in England and Wales.
Lady Justice is situated in a very lofty place, and is tricky to capture from lowly pavement level. Against the pale blue sky, she is quite a sight and a true London landmark.
