Burst of thorns

They seem to come crashing into the shot in a cloud of smoke.
But this is simply the joy of getting very close to a tiny slither of nature, being the blunt end of a small thorn-covered twig in this photograph.

This is beautiful…
One almost gets the sense of an explosion. An emotional explosion – so soft and fragile, but still strong.
