A Christmas album
Christmas means a lot of things to an awful lot of people. Even to a photographer – who doesn’t really enjoy the festive season – it means something. Beautiful shiny little objects, blazing colours, warm light, bold bokeh and a great opportunity to capture a particular mood. I took my bagful of seasonal booty and photographed them in full daylight, then at dusk with candlelight and some background fairy lights.
I hope you enjoy this little essence of the season and have a very enjoyable Christmas.
Can’t beat the comments between you and Cos, love them :D Great series and your use of DOF makes these baubles stand out – a cut above the rest of the Xmas stuff on-line

Ha! I think we should publish them as a book. And I’m glad you like the Christmas outing, Lee. Photography gives me an opportunity not to be an old bah humbug Scroogebag!

Lovely images, Mike. My festive input would be a big pile of humbugs, lol… Having said that, the Mike Osborn 2016 Christmas Card range looks set to be a winner! :D

Thanks Richard :) Well between you and me, my props are in a carrier bag somewhere and it looks business as usual around here… but cards for next year? Good thinking, sir!

Haha! We’re definitely non-festive spirit at this end too… No decorations beyond cards… And my cut’s a lowly 15%, by the way… ;)

Hahahaha! You drive a hard bargain :) It’s business as usual around here – all the festive cheer is just an excuse to take some photographs!
