Beautiful remembrance
Life’s very sad occasions are marked with beautiful floral tributes.
Instead of leaving them behind, I brought these flowers back to my home. They were fresh, vibrant and reflected a life of enormous personal significance.
Keeping them was an act of remembrance. Photographing them was a pleasure and source of comfort.
Beautiful, Mike. A lovely way to help build more memories. :)

Thanks Richard, I know you’re on the same page here. Amazingly, a bunch of pink lilies are still very much holding their own after two weeks :)

They do last surprisingly well!

Hi Mike, I lost my Dad two years ago in February and my wife lost her Mum two years ago in April…..so you have my total sympathy. The first birthday, Christmas, Mother’s Dat, Father’s Day is particularly hard……but it does get easier. Take care.

Thanks so much, Mark. There are markers along the road – you just have to make it part of your own life experience.

Thank you for your thoughts, Bunty. It was my mother and today has added poignancy – it is Mothering Sunday here in the UK.
