Kitchen paraphernalia
These are regular everyday objects found in my kitchen. They’re used all the time without much thought about their shape, form and style. I put them under the scrutiny of my macro lens and tried to capture them in a different light. On a wet November morning, this was a very welcome sheltered shoot.
Some of these shots are especially close-up and abstractive – can you guess which objects they are?…

Gorgeous lighting, Mike! And a stylish range of kitchenalia (not that I had any doubt it would be anything OTHER than stylish!)

Thanks Richard. Hmmm, I didn’t feature any saucepans… they seriously need replacing (note to Santa)…

Haha! I think we need the rough with the smooth to get a full insight into the Osborn household! :)

Good idea carried out brilliantly as usual, Mike. Love the idea of minimalism in the kitchen and love Rim and Stylish Metal.

Many thanks as always, Lee, I do appreciate your support. A good way to avoid going out in impossible conditions and think of usual objects in a different way.

Brilliant……I’ve been thinking about doing something similar myself, but I always seem to have other photos to work on

Many thanks, Mark. It’s not the same as being out and about, but a good standby when the weather is poor. Possibly more challenging than a conventional location shoot!
