Lyme Park
Lyme Park is a stunning stately home and grounds in easy reach of Manchester.
It found television fame in 1995 as the setting for Pride and Prejudice and the heart-fluttering moment when Mr Darcy (Colin Firth) was caught after a dip.
This is a retreat that has it all – hilltop walks, a magnificent folly and gardens to match.

Beautiful new home, Mike. I hope you finally have enough space for all your photos and cameras.

Ah it’s just a little weekend retreat from the city. The former Queen Beatrix sometimes pops over for some R&R…

I think she likes it because I let her be Queen. There’s a crown and everything.

A great place, by the look of it, summarised beautifully by the absence of the main building (apart from the first photo). Lovely work, Mike! :)
