Sweet Williams
It’s a late Spring treat to find these seasonal flowers in the shops.
With their clusters of multi-coloured blooms and soft, thistle-like buds, Sweet Williams are a personal favourite.
What a pleasure to have them in the house and to capture them for the first time.

I love Sweet Williams, have them on my balcony every year. Except I’ll be on vacation for 3 weeks this year so didn’t plant anything ’cause it’ll all go to seed while I’m away. But seeing your pics, I think I’ll buy some potted ones this year after the vacation.

Hi Kiki, I suspected you might be a fan! It’s funny, I’m only used to them as cut flowers, but they grow far and wide. They might be a nice addition to my own balcony :)

Thanks Richard! I can still occasionally do a little session indoors. We get light in the north sometimes ;)

Hahaha!!! I’m sure the sun is shining as strongly there at the moment as it is here.

To be fair it’s a wee bit moist here today and not in the way you’d expect.
