Saturdays in London aren’t complete with a visit to a food market. The daddy of them all is Borough Market, close to the River Thames and London Bridge.

Underneath the arches there are countless stalls groaning with fruit, vegetables, meat and food of all varieties. You can also eat yourself silly on mouthwatering street food or stop off for a fresh smoothie. The possibilities are endless, the smells mouthwatering.

It’s also a fantastic place for photography as it’s loaded with colours, shapes and textures. Here are just a few of the shots I came back with. I can’t promise that none of the items were eaten or drunk in the making of these images…
