A temporary silence descended while I went away for some rest, relaxation – and of course to gather the rich photographic rewards of a new place.
I went to the little island of Boa Vista, the easternmost of the Cape Verde islands which are scattered off the Atlantic coast of West Africa.
We start at the end of the day, on a beach for golden hour and then sunset. This was the best one, a tropical show by the strong currents of the sea. It was that moment of the holiday where my mind cleared of everything else.
One to savour.

I thought you were going to fund me! It crystallises it into a memory. Of course I can recall being there, but it’s not THE moment.
Well, you’ll have to live the moment at the time you’re having the moment. (It’s an open door, I know) Seeing the photos of our holiday or talking about it, sure making relive my moments at the ‘West Coast’.
So, to relive your moment: what was the temperature on the beach? what were you wearing? what did you feel when you saw the sun go down in the sea?
The waves were lapping around my bare feet. I’d left my shoes on the boardwalk. I felt calm and peaceful as the sun slowly disappeared. Sigh! Shall I lie on your consulting couch while I tell you?!
The moment is back? And, yes, you’re welcome on my couch ;)
